I need sticky, transparent, weatherproof plastic.

I'm looking for some kind of transparent, weatherproof plastic that I can use to cover up a two windows. It needs to be able to stick to the frame of the window and never come off. I'm not really sure what the proper terminology is for this type of plastic. Any idea what it's called?

You did say "waterproof".
Those shrink type plastic insulator kits are meant to be inside, not outside.
Nothing you "stick" on will stay any length of time outdoors.

Also, if you are in a climate with cold weather, leaks in the window framing will cause condensation to form in the space if covered on the outside.

if you update your profile to show your aproximate location it makes a huge difference on a lot of advice we offer......especially in this thread!

He said weatherproof. As in stopping drafty window. But yeah, if we was thinking of putting it on the outside, that's not what they are for.

They do make outdoor plastic for windows. Both 3M and Frost King.
