Velux Skylight Window Operator

I have read past posts mentioning Velux charge its Skylight window operator set for $250. I am hoping to find out how to order it. Our skylight's window operator needs replacement parts. We would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help us with this issue please? Thanks!

That window operator you are mentioning is only the electronic control portion of the system. The power supplies would run hot and fail. That is for an older operator and I'm pretty sure that replacement is no longer available. Many members in past threads actually fixed their own controllers by connecting an external power supply.

Like X mentioned..... try Velux first. If no help..... let us know what you have there.

Maybe you've solved the problem by now. But, if not, consider getting a couple of Mowin (Comunello) Liwin chain actuators to replace your Velux ones. You can get them on eBay. They ship direct from Italy, We got ours in about a week. Our Velux skylights were installed in 1997, and all the scissor operators are toast. The Liwin units fit the windows beautifully with only minor frame modifications. And they are so much quieter than the Velux KEM140. But, they are not "plug and play." You need either AC line voltage at the windows (for the radio controlled units), or figure out a way to supply 24VDC to the "hard wired" 24V units. It doesn't appear that the Velux eboxes will work with them, as they draw about 1A. There are also some Chinese chain actuators (on Amazon) that draw less current, and will work with the Veliux electronics, but they are more difficult to install in the Velux window frames.
