Are my window screens no good?
newbie0101 on Sep 25, 2019Not sure if this is a window question or an insect question, but are my screens 'bad'? Are the holes too big? We have to keep our windows closed all summer long, as numerous gnats (or whatnot) get through the screens. If we kept our windows open, all of the insects below would end up inside our house. Granted, the pics below are from our kitchen, which is very bright all evening long. It's not quite as bad in the bedrooms that maybe just have a lamp at night, but there are still many gnats/whatever that get through. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks! Kerf Weatherstrip Channel Insert
Has anyone seen a plastic piece in weather stripping that goes in the door stop channel? The channel itself is too large for a normal kerf type seal, but the plastic piece fits perfect and holds the weatherstrip in place. Trying to find a set because our painters threw ours away.
