What kind of pro to hire to replace block window?
We don't know where to start replacing the vinyl block window above the tub in our bathroom. A few years ago, we noticed moisture in one or two of the blocks. Now there are perhaps 5-6 of the blocks with moisture inside. (Window is approx 6 blocks wide and 6 blocks tall.)
We have a red brick house and not enough extra bricks to fill in the window, but I would actually love to replace that large window with a small sliding window higher up--both to decrease the sun/heat in the bathroom and to allow some ventilation for when I'm using cleaning materials.
But how big a job is that and who do we call? The only window ads I ever see are for companies that seem to specialize in replacing all the windows in your house. I'd be nervous about hiring a local handyman to do something this major.
Appreciate any advice you can offer.

One major problem is that its hard to find someone to do a small job... and one window is a small job.
You can try small construction companies... handyman services... but the problem will be finding an exact replacement for your window. No doubt it will need to be a custom replacement which is special order (in other words, 1 month or so wait from when you order it)
Changing the size of the opening is a bigger problem than you imagine due to the brick. Window installers dont commonly touch the brick... that would normally require a masonry subcontractor.

I would keep the window opening the same size, and after the new window is in you can get roman shades that you can lower the from the top top or raise from the bottom.

I like Dan1973's idea. Roller and solar shades are also available with the TDBU option. Then I'm sure you could get a handyman to just replace a window or even a big box store.

Thanks for your responses. We will try Lowe's/Home Depot first and see if they can order and install a new window. Then maybe head over to the window treatments department for Roman blinds.
