flies through upper and lower tracks of sliding windows
Hi
Have some old sliding windows with screens. Screens have holes at the bottom to allow water drainage but also permit flies to get into the space between screen and window. The window tracks at the top and bottom have space large enough for flies to crawl along the tracks and enter the house. So...
Any advice on how to occlude the tracks but still permit windows to slide? Thanks.

You can cover gaps and holes with anything you want. Tape would be an easy option. Keep in mind that the holes at the bottom are there for a reason. If you block the drain holes water may back up and get inside the house.
