Need help identifying this
Need help figuring out what this tab is called and where I can get more.... so I can't upload the pic... it's a tab in the side of a vinyl window that keeps the window channel in place for when you put in the window... it's a plastic tab that holds, then recedes in once the window is put in

It's not a vent lock, it's a sideload take out clip. And as far as I know, they are discontinued. https://www.swisco.com/discussions/C...clips-77-29596
You would probably need to take one out and have it copied with a 3d printer, or switch to metal ones, assuming they would fit your mortise.

The take-out clip is only used to remove the sash or replace the balance. In repairing windows, in a pinch, I put in a screw, in place of the clip, leaving the head out about 1/4" to hold the balance while removing the window.
