How to remove the floor transition strip

https://imgur.com/a/FPYaaFP
I wanna remove it, so I can re-tile and put it back. But one of the door trim piece (I think it's a door stop) is sitting on it and preventing me. What can I do?
And is the door trim piece suppose to sit right on top of the floor transition strip? Or should there be so space?

To remove it you would need to remove the whole door, it's attached to the bottom of the jambs.

That tan strip might be able to be pry off. I would need to see it up close and in person. But why? You new floor will only need to go up to the quarter round, which can be removed and then reattached.

Look close at the threshold, as noted they are part of the door frame and not removable, flooring just butts up to the edge, might be a piece of molding along the edge that would come off!
