Velux skylights

I've been trying to get a older VSE Velux Skylights going( model 156). There is an older post that helped a lot. Long story short between the posts here and Velux tech support I found you need a 120 volt to 24V transformer around 40 VA which is about 1.66 Amps. That will drive their motor, they stated 90% of the time it's the transformer, We will see, i bought a transformer from Velux paid double what I should have, but I will have access to their tech support. The next window I will just buy a transformer for 25 bucks. But here is the deal, I found a web site that sells the chain type operator that is exactly the type that my windows use with the whole setup for somewhere around 80 bucks. Just may be my next option, I asked their support if they had an upgrade kit and he said nothing for that old of a window this site sells the whole setup. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/40008...6f7e4f795506nD
