Wood storm window expanded/warped

I’m fixing up an old house built in the 1920’s. I found 5 wood storm windows stored in the basement (who knows how long). I decided to refinish them and put them up. 3 went in perfect, but the last two are less than a cm too big.

Even though they are labeled I still tried them in every window way and they are just slightly too big. Is this an expansion or warping problem from being in the basement too long? Is there anything I can do to shrink them?

I‘m leaning towards just sanding down the edges, but I wanted to ask here first before I did any more sanding and had to prime and paint again. Im hoping maybe there’s an easy solution. Thanks

Due to storage in the basement, who knows, probably just happened with age. You not going to shrink them but get a table saw and trim them up straight and true would probably work!
