Loose screw on metal screen door hinge
One or more of the hinge screws on my lanai screen door (which is very light in weight) are loose,
most likely due to the screw hole in the frame having enlarged. So the door is not square and requiring me to push down on it to close properly.
Would appreciate any thoughts on best way to fix... I know that on a wooden frame I could drill out, insert, and glue a wooden dowel, but not the case here.
Thanks, in advance

Just to be clear, you're talking about the hinge as it attaches to the storm door and not the hinge as it attaches to the house frame?
You might try an oversized screw as long as the head will fit within the framing slot.

You can go up to the next size larger fastener. You can also drill a new hole in another location and install another screw.

If there is room on the hinge to drill another hole that would be fine. Otherwise you need to relocate the entire hinge and drill all holes into the door and the house frame section. Sounds like too much work involved. Perhaps a new door might be in the offing.

You could try an oversized screw or sometimes a rivet will work better on aluminum when the hole has been enlarged as happens when a loose screw waddles.

The door and latch of course is attached to the Lanai screen cage (AKA bird cage) which is all aluminum and not to the house or its' frame. Was wondering if some form of Locktite glue could also be used ... if not will try to find a larger screw size and use that...
Thanks all for the assist...

Just thinking about this a bit more based on comments..
If larger screw does not work I can patch the hole with JB WELD FOR ALUMInum, drill
a new hole and that will probably work.
Once again thanks all for the advice.

Yes you can use an epoxy. But I'm not sure how well it will hold. You ight try using one of the non-expanding foams and try filling the hole as much as possible. Then drill out the foam to a larger size screw than is needed. Then fill that hole with an epoxy. Then drill that with a small size drilled hole that the original screw can grab onto and the hinge.
