We recently bought a few interior transoms and noticed the glass is slightly loose. Not like it is going to fall out or anything, it just shifts a little bit when you open and close them.
Any recommendations for how I can shore up the glass?
Are you talking about the glass in it's sash or the sash within the frame? Usually glass doesn't have to be held tight. Just so it doesn't fall out and a bit of freedom allows the wood to swell and shrink without breaking the glass.
If you just bought them, ask the supplier if the glass is supposed to be loose. Chances are that when you stain or paint the sash, it will fill the hairline space between the glass and wood.
I had a window pane Get broken and I need to replace that glass. I've already ordered the glass to put back in place but I need to know if there are any considerations I need to make whenever I put the window pane back in place and any tidbits or videos that I can watch that will help me? And since I've never taken one out what am I looking at in order to get that window removed?

I have this on all of my windows. Home is almost 30 years old, no idea what was used before. How can I fix it? I keep getting sand through all my windows(desert).
If it could be tediously explained on how to fix I'd be forever grateful! Layman's terms would be very helpful! I have no idea what to use, if sand is getting in I would assume that not only the inside needs to to sealed but so does the outside!
Product recommendations highly sought after so I don't end up using the wrong item!
