Question What is this spacer for storm door called.

Hello,
I'm a new home owner and looking to replace the spacer towards the inside of the storm door.
I'm just so dumb that I'm not able to find what it's called to look it online for purchase.
Here is the picture and marked with red lines-18mm thick.
Thanks you!

Could possibly be brickmold if it was a pre-hung door.

That is just a piece of wood that has been cut to fit on a table saw.

The brickmold that matches the prehung jambs is sitting to the left of the left arrow. The storm door mounts on top of the brickmold and covers all but 1/4" of it. They have removed the brickmold, added an extension jamb between the jamb and the brickmold... (Cut on a table saw from some primed wood) then the put the brickmold on top of that.

I think that was added because the jamb was not deep enough for the closer or the door knob or it could be the brickmold that was left primed & unpainted.

They add that extension to make the door jamb wudth equal to the total wall thickness. I have no idea why the op would want to replace it. Dont think he realizes that everything would have to be torn apart in order to replace it... It all just needs to be painted the same color to match.

One thing though, is the triangle shaped closer bracket should be moved so that it is mounted on the white 18mm board. The edge of it is supposed to be 1/4" from the storm door frame. The farther away it gets, it makes the storm door harder to open.
