Therma-tru fiber classic mahogany collection door

I look at the bottom sweep and it looks like stape hold in the sweep. How can you change it?

It is very possible the sweep has been stapled in place.
You want to pull out the staples and replace them ?
Are the staples not staying in ?

The sweep is falling apart in some places. The only way I can think of replacing the sweep is by taking the door off the hinges and doing it then. Just wondering if there was another way. Really do not want to do that.

Most ThermaTru doors will have sweeps that have kerfs AND it may be stapled on. Some were flat with no kerfs and were glued and stapled on.

Either way, the normal way to change a sweep is you take the hinge pins out, flip the door on its side, take a matching sweep and attach it in the same manner. Then put the door back on.
