I can't seem to pop out the pins on this door hinge. I tried tapping them from the bottom and pulling them from the top but no luck. Am I missing something, or are there some tips? I'd really rather not remove the hinge if possible. Thanks!
I either use a punch from below or a stiff putty knife under the top lip of the pin. Putty knife is often quicker but you still need to get the pin up a tad.
I have read past posts mentioning Velux charge its Skylight window operator set for $250. I am hoping to find out how to order it. Our skylight's window operator needs replacement parts. We would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help us with this issue please? Thanks!
We have these kind of weird rollup screens. The doors are vertical and the windows are horizontal. We inherited them from the previous owner. They come from Europe.
My question. They no longer retract properly mostly because of some black felt like material which has come apart over the years and kind of 'balls up' when I try to open the screen. I suppose I could try to scrape away the felt material (one side has adessive). But that will let in bugs. But I don't even know what to call the stuff to search for it on say Amazon.
Any help appreciated.
