Not sure if I understand your question, are you wanting to remove the screws and patch the holes? If so you'd remove the screws and either fill the holes with painter's putty or spackling. Doors seldom touch up well and the best fix would involve spot priming and then repainting that side of the door.
Hi Mark, thanks for your reply. I know how to fix it, I was looking for an alternative, quick solution, to remove the screws, fix the hole but would involve NOT painting the door. I decided on removing the screws and adding a nice wood towel hook instead. Quick and very decent.
I have some casement windows that seem to be misaligned. When you close them they are closed at the bottom but have a gap as you get closer to the top. I have not found information on how you can adjust them to fix this issue, these are Caradco windows. they are old but in decent shape. they have an arm that you pull up to open, pull down to close, not a crank. there is some sticking also.
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that it is possible to remove the old ugly plastic grid from your french doors. I did it!
I used a dremel tool to cut each piece off of the frame and also used the dremel to sand each nub down, I painted it and reinstalled it. Looks beautiful.

It was alot of work, but sooooo worth it. You have to take the doors apart, it took about 4 hours per door.
