Garage Door Won't Lock

Garage Door Won't Lock
Standard Overhead Door no Electric Opener, has the standard turn handle to engage the bars to lock the door. One side of the bars has become misaligned with the hole in the track (by maybe 3/8") that it formerly went through to lock. Any Ideas?

Ideas like what? Does the door contact the cement evenly on bottom? Is the door still level? If it worked once, we have no way of knowing what changed.
Either your concrete has heaved, throwing the door out of level, or the foundation and framing have settled. Or maybe your bulb weatherstripping on the door bottom is flat and lets the door sag more than it used to.

Look around and figure out what moved. If the door worked before something changed. Start with the latch mechanism. Look it over and make sure that the guides for the locking bar are still in place. Look at the door track that has the hole for the lock. Did it move? Are there loose bolts? Did it get hit or bent?
