Should I cut down a steel plated door

I have a rough in opening of approx. 34" x 78" to my garage. Im unable to find a door with in my budget. However, both home Depot and Lowes sells a Masonite 32 x 80 prehung steel plated door. I have contact ed several handyman and nobody is willing to cut it down. I was thinking about cutting it down myself. I have very limitative experience in using skill saw, but watched several videos. It seem simple

Anyone have any experience in cutting down a steel door, and would they recommend in doing so.

ThanksMary

No, you would not want to do that. Get a mobile home door. Something like this.

Either that or resize the opening for a standard door.

Mobile home doors are typically 76" tall so that's probably the way to go. I've never heard of anyone cutting a steel door to fit. They are hollow with styrofoam insulation and it would be very difficult to seal it back up or make it look nice.
