I want to replace my exciting bay window. I've my own windows before, but never a bay.
how do you accurately and correctly measure a bay window for ordering a new one?
I had a church Outreach group come help me with trying to get a door put into my back patio. I noticed that the door extended inside leaving about an inch or so exposed. I think this door was meant for a 2x6 frame and not 2x4. As you can see from my photos there is nothing exposed outside and it's pretty much flush with the siding period I'm planning to put vinyl siding up. My question is what do I do on the inside there so that I get rid of that? I thought about just putting another sheet of drywall up on that wall it's not that big and I already have to make major repairs to the wall.
