How to fix door scratches

[color=#383a3b]Hello everyone, I am interested in replacing all of the hinges on the interior doors in my home. They are all old gold hinges that look beat up and in some cases, they have been painted over. Is there anything I should be aware of before going ahead with this?[/color] [color=#383a3b]I plan on buying the same exact hinge as the old one, so hopefully there's no issue in terms of having the new hinge fit into the imprint of the old one. The bushings on an old security/storm door on my mother's house failed and the z-bar is damaged. I cannot find the manufacturer's information, but the glass is Chamberlain security class out of Arkansas. Hopefully someone will recognize the door and parts are still available. I do not want to have to replace it.
