How to fix glass loose in window frame.

I have a sliding window where the glass isn't snugly attached in the frame. The window slides left, and when I pull on the frame about half way up the frame like normal, the frame pulls away from the glass. I can push the glass back in no problem. If I pull on the bottom of the frame to slide the window there is not problem. I want to glue the the glass to the frame but I don't know what kind of adhesive to use. The glass is double-pane and is in good shape.

Suggestions? What adhesive would I use for this?

You only want to use 100% silicone when glazing glass, so Gorilla silicone would be a good choice. White or clear. Do it as neatly as possible. If you need to tool it, have a squirt bottle and some rubbing alcohol ready. After you are done caulking, mist it with alcohol from the spray bottle and then tool it with a finger. Have plenty of paper towels and a waste basket handy.

XSleeper - That's sort of what I was thinking. I was also thinking I should use some sort of syringe to get the silicone in between the glass and frame. Maybe I could shim the gap open to give me a little room.

Some sort of tube with a built-in nozzle or syringe would be great!

Maybe this would work:
Henkel 908570 2.7 oz Tub Clear Silicone Waterproof Sealant, Single Tube

I don't think you need to do that. Just do what I suggested, run the bead around the entire glass perimeter, and tool it. Tooling it will force the silicone into any gap.

I'd take the sash out and lay it flat...place something heavy on the middle of the glass to push it down, and caulk it. Let it cure for at least 24 hours before you pull on it. Don't get impatient, it needs to cure with no stress on the joints.
