I would remove the remaining screws in the door side of the hinge.
Use a dremel rotary grinder tool with a metal cutting disc and cut a slot in the screw head.
It will cut slightly into the wood but the hinge will hide it.
I would not bother trying to remove them. There isn't enough metal left to cut slots and be able to withstand the torque to remove the screws. I drill and counter sink new holes in the hinge for new screws.
in the pictures you can see that I need to move the bottom over at most 1/8in.
That also would line up the top of the doors.
The weather strip in the middle otherwise doesn't line up.
I tried putting shims under the hinge but that only closes the gap of the hinge.

Hi -
I don't know where to put this so I'm putting it here.
My wood front door (probably original circa 1956) is showing it's age. During the summer I have a big gap in one of the sections. It partially closes up during the winter. Is there any way to fix this other than investing in a new front door? what about wood putty? Would that work?
Thanks all
