Question How to Remove 100% Mechanical Doorbell?

UPDATE: Nevermind. Apparently the screw was sunken into the top and painted over which is why I couldn't see it. I got the back cover off and as I feared, the viewfinder thing in it that I didn't even know existed means there's a huge round hole in the door that I'd have to close up if I removed the front panel. I may just mount the wireless doorbell next to it for now.

Sorry I have no idea which forum this should go in. I don't have a picture of the actual thing right now but I found these pics online that are pretty identical.

It's installed in my door and it's so jarring when someone pushes the button with the pieces that bang together to make noise. I want visitors to use our wireless camera doorbell instead. We wanted to mount it on the door where this thing is but I don't see a way to remove it.

My fear is that if I try to forcefully pry it open, I'll break it leaving a huge hole in the door since I have no idea how the front is connected to the back. If someone knows how this thing is likely mounted on the door and how to remove the back, I'll at least attempt it. Thanks!

Now that you know how it comes apart, maybe you can adjust the clacker/clanger mechanism for a better sound.
