I am looking for ideas on how to fill the voids between the brick moulding and the stonework that surrounds my new front entrance door. Pictures are attached. Thanks!
Thanks, XSleeper. Would I then have to seal the joint between the composite brick moulding and the mortar? If so, should I use a clear silicone? The moulding is a Pella dark Mahogany color and Pella doesn't have sealant/caulk in that color. Thanks again for the help.
I have a 67 1/2 W x 82 1/2 H door opening with 3/4 inch trim still on. Do I need 60x80 doors? I know I will have to extend the frame on the side to accommodate. Will I have to do it to the top also? It will be going to wood and not carpet. Thank you Read More
I have glass block installed in my basement windows. They have cracked since my house shifted. I want to remove the glass block and replace them with a new glass block panel.
Do I chisel the mortar from around the frame of the old glass block panel, or do I smash the glass block out? Smashing would be so messy.
Any suggestions?
