We purchased a home built in 1956 with aluminum sliding windows. There were no screens or frames in any of the windows except one in the shed. I have ordered new frames and screens. My question is how do I get the new frames into the window? Right now we have the one full screen propped into the window but are unable to figure it out. I have attached pictures of the window, the tracks and also a bar on the outside that goes between the two panes of sliding windows. Does this bar need to come off to put the screen frames in? There are screws on the top and bottom. Thank you in advance for any help that you guys may be able to offer
