Oval glass in door

Our Living room door is a solid mahogany wood door, with a large oval decorative glass insert. Is there anything to use on a temporary basis, just when needed, to block the view through the glass? We don't want to put any nails or screws in the door. I'm thinking about putting a folding room divider screen in front of it, but would like to know of any other options.

Get a piece of plastic tubing rigid enough to hold against the frame of the oval, and sew fabric over it to close the view. Snap it in when you want to.
