Bathroom door that won't stay partially closed
First owners of a home built in 1998. Have a couple of door that want to always open unless latched. Particularly annoying is the bathroom door that always swings wide open if not closed completely. Space at top of door increases as you move away from the hinges/not level. Do I need to pull the trim and reset the door so it is square?

Not neccessarily,,,,you can also try shimming the hinges and/or pull the top pin and wack it in the middle with a hammer to bend it slightly. Install it and the door should stay where you want and still operate smoothly......

The method is to pull the pins and hit the pins while they are on the ground to slightly bend them before reinserting them.......If your saying that because the hinge pins are somehow difficult to reach and therefore by hitting them up to remove them, the screws are loosening then remove the hinge leaf from the jam and then remove the pin.......
As per your solution, first put a level on the wall to make sure it not out of plumb which could present problems as opposed to a jam that is simply not plumb which can more easily be reset......
