sliding cavity door removal

I need a little assistance...I will be tiling my kitchen floor and it looks like the added heigth will interfear with the sliding cavity door that ajoins another room. Is there a trick to removing the door to either change it or modify it, or do I need to go through the wall?

Cool

Remove the casing and trim around the pocket door, and pull it out.
You should not have to go through the wall.
If you're adding a layer of tile under iits slide area, youmay have to trim the bottom off while you have it out, however.
Good Luck!
