glass block windows

Help! We installed a clear glass block window in the shower. We now have a 'beacon' of light directing people to our shower in the evening. How can we fix this? Is there something we can coat the blocks with to insure that they are no longer see through?

As an inexpensive solution, you may want to try using one of several transculent coatings available, which are commonly used to create "faux" stained glass.

Thanks. I'll look into this. Are these available at home improvement stores?
