I have pastic shudders on my house now that do not have louvers and I am wanting to get new ones that do have louvers. I cannot seem to find wooden shudders. Do they still make them or am I better off jst buying plastic ones. I know plastic will last longer but I like the looks of wooden ones. If they do make wooden ones any suggestions of where I can find them?
Thanks,

Hi,
I am having problems with two pocket doors in my home interior:
1) the first pocket door has been operating perfectly since it was installed in 1996. Recently, however, it seems to have jumped off its track after a moderate bump, and I can't get it back in place. Also, I thought I heard something fall down inside the wall when it was bumped off, so possibly something is broken.
My question: what do I need to do to access the track and roller mechanism to try and repair it? Do I need to remove doorway trim and molding? Do I need to cut into wallboard? Is it possible that the door has, in fact, jumped off the track or is something probably broken?
2) the second door is sliding along its track, but is warped so that the door rubs against the framing along the top. How can I get this door off in order to either fix it or replace it?
All suggestions will be appreciated.
Regards,
Joe Karnicky
