No, not a single or double throw deadbolt. It's a strange bird that works like a normal key in knob that latches when the door is shut but can also throw the same latch as a deadbolt by turning the key further than normal.

I built a home which has Peachtree windows that are standard size and made of vinyl. I have not been able to find any "ventilation locks" for vinyl windows. All of the ventilation locks that I have found are made for wood windows, even "First Security". Since the framing of vinyl windows is narrower than that of wood, the ventilation locks for wood will NOT work for vinyl.
It's very simple: I live in a low-crime small town and would like to leave my windows open at night and during the day when the temperatures are pleasant outside. So adding a "ventilation lock" which allows the window to only open a small distance than be locked into place, would do the trick. At my old home with very old wood windows, I used these types of locks, but again, that was wood while today it's the standard vinyl window.

OK - I give up - I have fiddled with the screen on my sliding glass doors for months and it keeps falling off. Does anyone have any secrets - or maybe the correct procedure - to get these on to stay. It almost seems as if the screen is just too small - but when it is open - it seems to fit fine. Heeeellllllpppppppp
