Purchase stock or custom windows?
Aseret_in_MO on Jul 06, 2002I have 4 basement windows to replace. This would be only my second time replacing windows. Present windows are 17" high x 34 1/2 wide--but they are not exactly square (70 yr old basement windows). The difference between stock windows (17" x 32") and custom are approx. $27 per window. Should I purchase the custom windows? Or should I use the stock windows with spacers? Please let me know if the convenience is worth the extra cost.Read More
