removing caulking
Hi- I want to replace the caulking around my windows because
it's cracked. Can you tell me how to remove the old caulking and clean the vinyl trim before I put on the new caulking?

Cut (utility knife) and scrape (6-in1-tool) out as much of the old caulking that you can first.
Make sure that all surfaces (including the vinyl) are clean and dry before running the new caulk.

Thanks for your help with the removal of caulking. I asked some guy at our local "discount" hardware store, and I wasn't convinced that he gave me all the info I needed. I'd rather have a few opinions and pick the most logical. Your opinion helped alot.
I've vacationed in your area and was pretty impressed, quite lovely. Thanks again, jp006...
