Spray compounds on air filters

I currently use pleated air filters and noticed with a brand new filter that a vacuum is present when the blower is on. I don't know the actual amount of vacuum force but would guess that the blower is exerting 2-3 lb of force on the filter. The filter is also causing a whistle like a jet engine with the blower on. The question is: with a fiberglass filter is there anything that can be sprayed on the filter to increase performance without causing more damage than the dirt?

Here are my system specs.
Blower 1400-2000 CFM @.4 W.C. depending on speed tap
filters (2) 14"X30" , 14"X24"

Yes there are spray on that will help a filter keep more of the dirt out.One is called a Filter coat and another one PuraClean that I know of. Just a very light spray on the intake side of the filter when you put the new one in is all.
If you have a high MERV filter that makes the noise you could rework the intake so you could use a larger filter there. Would cut down on the noise.
