Question Dirty A/C condensate pump

What is the proper way to clean the A/C condensate tubing and pump that is attached to my A/C unit? The tubing looks like it has a lot of mold in it, but I am concerned about using bleach in the pump mechanism for fear of corroding the pump.

If it's vinyl tubing--either buy new at the local hardware store or run bleach through it. I'd wouldn't mess with it--I'd just buy new tubing for a couple bucks.

The pump:

Take a toothbrush or some kind of small brush to it. You should be able to get a lot of the mold off it thay way.

You can easily use soap or a mild cleansor on that unit without damaging it.
