Day&Night filter

I moved into this (1989) condo last summer and had the utility company do a check on the Day&Night gas heater recently. The filter needs replacing, but it's an odd size at 12x27x1 with small square blocks cut out from two of the corners, resulting in a not-quite-rectangular shape. The filter is also frameless. I can't find a manual for this heater online.

I rarely use the heater so I can keep the bills down, but the cold season is here. Does anyone know where I could find something like this online? A couple of the local shops don't seem to have anything like it.

I don't have my own. I didn't realize people have their own HVAC maintenance personnel like having your own car mechanic.

Filters-Now has in stock filters of every size imaginable. The 12x27x1 is in stock here:

Here's what my current filter looks like. Notice the cutouts on the two corners (this is because there are holder pieces in the area where the filter goes in and gets clamped down by a wire handle). Anyone have any idea if something like this still exists?

Looks like some kind of Hogs hair with a backing! Your HVAC company should know where to get these!

I cannot find Day & Night on the Internet anywhere, except some vague reference that they were acquired by Bryant some time ago. And their site doesn't have any info on my model. It's quite frustrating.

I wrote to filters-now.com and apparently they don't have anything like mine. Anyone else have any suggestions?
