Question How to temporarily ventilate basement.

I'm not sure which forum to post this message...I hope this is okay.

----------------------------

I have been doing some remodeling and painting in my basement and the odors linger for weeks after.

Is there a way I could improve ventilation (to move the odors out of the house)?

I open the small windows but that doesn't do much.

My basement doesn't have duct exhausts either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I've tried both side windows open but this below grade and there is no/little air-flow. I can't find a fan that fits the 2' x 1' window...I'll keep looking.

I thought there might be some type of 'air-pump'/exchanger I could use. One end with a hose in the house (coming in through a window) and a pump outside that discharges the air--similiar to a water pump.
