Moving ac register

Air handeling unit is in the attic and would like to move a register in the kitchen (1st floor) from the top of a wall to the bottom (through the toe-kick under a cabinet). Will I loose much efficiency with this change?

Its like how many 90o elbows will you add to this run. You have to look on one 90o elbow like it makes the run 5ft longer. So yes you will cut down on the air from it

Thanks!

I'll be adding about 7 feet to the straight run. The current layout has on 90 degree turn and the new layout will also have one 90 degree turn. I was more worried about ac fed to bottom of room vs. top of room.

Dont worry about high or low there. With the duct in the attic . Later on if need be you could go into the duct up there and put what we call a robber in it to help get more air in that pipe.
