Spliting one duct connection

I am finishing my basement. At one end is two bedrooms on either side of the main heat plenum. There is only one space between floor joints to run the ducts to both rooms. Will a "T" be acceptable to do this and should the size of the duct be increased for this run?

How?

And how do I size it right? All the other runs are 6", do I go to 8"? Do I go back down to 6" before the register box?

Need to do a heat load on those two rooms to see how much air they both need.
