Spacing ducts on plenum

Are there any guidelines for spreading out ducts on the surfae of the plenum? I currently have a 6", a 6" and two 6" ducts coming from each of 3 sides of the plenum (with the return blocking access to the 4th side) and also a supply vent directly on one of those sides to warm the basement.

I want to change one of those 6's into a 10", and the two that are together into 8" each. My concern is that most of the ducts will be coming from one corner of the plenum. Will this hurt my airflow? Here's an overhead sketch of what I want to do, if that helps:

---________|+6"+|___
---|++++++++++++++|
---|++++++++++++++|
---|++++++++++++++|
___|++++++++++++++|
++10"+++++++++++++|
+++++++++++++++++|
___++++++++++++++|
---|_|+8"++|_|++8"+|_|
-----|++++|--|++++|
-----|++++|--|++++|

Do you have the CFM and the Btu for that other 10" pipe? That new 10" is like 4 more 6 " on it????

There is no other 10", I am enlarging a 6" opening to be 10". I will then split this 10" into three 6" to heat the 2nd floor. I estimated the needed CFM at around 300, split up between 2 bedrooms and a bath.

If a 10" delivers enough for 4 6", maybe I want to use an 8" instead? I want less heat upstairs than downstairs.

My biggest concern is that most of the ductwork leaves the plenum in one corner, and I hope this won't rob too much pressure.
