bucket vent + Dehumidifier

Hey folks
I've been doing some research on home heating alternatives.
I'm presently building passive solar heaters based on ideas from here and elsewhere.
I've also been doing some web searches on vent buckets and
a device called " Heat Helper" (http://www.heat-helper.com/)
I have an electric clothes dryer and am aware the amount of lint and humidity that is produced.
In all the articles I've read, No one ever mentions running a dehumidifier along with a vent bucket or secondary filter type device.
So...Would the electrical expense of running a small dehumidifier "only" while the dryer was running offset the energy saved by utilizing the wasted heat from the dryer?

Thanks
Mike

Id run the outside air in through the dehumidifier! Don't think that heat helper will do alot.

You mean run the dryer exhaust through the dehumidifier.
(I want to capture that heat but avoid the mildew and mold that come with it.)
How could i do that? Please explain

You can't have one with out the other. I thought you where looking for a way to bring fresh air into the home with low RH.

For fifty bucks that "heat-helper" is nothing more than a steel electrical box and a plastic Tee fitting with a diverter vane and an added on screen.

Really, you could do the same by just removing the vent hose from the outside connection and tying a leg of panty hose to the end during the heating season.

I strongly suspect that the power to run the dehumidifier would be more than the savings in heating expense.
