Zone Valve

I am now attempting to connect two zone valves to my Honeywell aquastat. The one on the first floor is a new Honeywell zone valve and I have that working great. The one on the second floor was in the system before just left open all the time. I want to connect this one to the system as well. The name on the motor cover is Synchron. It has two red wires coming out the front. It also has a yellow and orange wire that had been spliced together. I have been trying to connect this valve and have no luck at all.

the 2 red wires are the 24V from the TR up to the stat.the 2 wires tied together are the end switch...to close when the valve opens on call for heat, and opens when it shuts the heat to the zone stopping what is tied into it
