My central air blower is making lots of noises when turned on, how can I repair?Sounds like a shoe in a dryer.

Either one of the 3 bolts holding the blower motor to the housing has come off OR the blower wheel itself has come apart at the center seam.

if it's not a metal grinding noise could be dirt on the squirrel cage rounds and making it unbalanced.slide it out and run it if it just started doing this it has to be something piece of filter on the fan blade.....

I would 1st check inside the blower wheel. Could be dirty or could be a foreign object in there like a dead mouse.
