Question Joining 9x12 ducts between I-Joists

I purchased 28 Ft. of 9x12 rectangular duct sections with standard slip joints and slide locks for my new home furnace installation. I now realize the joints are impossible to reach between the 16" O.C. 12" I-joists because the top plate of 3 undercrossing walls prevent lowering the duct for joining and sealing.
Is there an alternate to standard slip joints and locks, such as some sort of full slip joint so that I can push the final sections together in place? If so, how do I seal the joint since hand access is only to the lower half of the joint? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

I can only do the first 3 sections before lifting into place due to 3 walls in the way. My problem is connecting to the remaining 3 sections that have to be added to the first 3 sections.

Can you put these peaces together and slide them over the walls then hook to the first three. If the joint is not over top of a wall It should be easy to do. Can you take a picture or two?
