Bottom or ground range exhaust options

Hi there,
I searched low and high and could not find the answer to my question.
I am planning on remodeling my kitchen that has a center island and a stove-top installed in it. The venting from the stove-top is achieved through the bottom i.e. there's ducting system in the floor of the kitchen. I'd really prefer to keep that system because I don't want to tear up the ceiling and go through the whole mess with new ducts . Is there effective and hopefully efficient bottom venting option I can use to achieve same or similar results that the "normal" range hood would give me?
Thanks!

There are no "normal" range hood to down for the venting. The only thing out there are two things.

-Down Draft Cooktop from Jenn Air.

or

-Telescopic Downdraft Systems
