Clean or Replace attic A/C ducts?

I'm guessing they are not too dirty as there is a filter on the return but there has been condensation issues as evident in the black mildew visible from outside the vents and the insulation on the return vent has absorbed some moisture over the years. The venting hasn't been touched for the ten years we've been here.

This is a one story ranch with flexible ducts in the attic. Should they be replaced on occasion as I imagine they can't be cleaned? Or is duct cleaning overated? Is this only useful when there is so much krudd, that it actually causes flow impedence? Not the case here, by the way, but curious about duct cleaning philosophy.

IMO replace the flex ducts. New ducts are probably better insulated anyway.

HVAC cleaning if done right will be fine an average system will take 5 to 7 hours to do
