Dryer vent touching other pipes and wires
I am installing a new dryer vent. There is a spot that would be the easiest to install it in but it already has other pipes and wires in it.
Can a dryer vent touch pex pipe water lines and can it touch romex wire and can it even touch the wood studs?
Also what is the best method for attaching the dryer vent to the studs? I read that you should never screw into the pipe because lint will catch on the screws...
Thanks!

That was easy. A dryer vent line doesn't get that hot.
They sell pipe hanger strap. Comes in rolls. Use the poly type. Link below.

One thing to keep in mind with your dryer vent, we (in Ontario anyway) are able to use to flex tubing where south of the border (not sure if all US, or only parts), require ridget pipe.
If you are using flexible tubing, make sure it's not the cheap plastic stuff and is stretched out.
