Freshvent Ventmax air exchanger.

I have a noisy fan motor assembly in my Freshvent Vent 1001 air exchanger. I have replaced it once 10 years ago and now cannot find another Motor. It is a half amp motor 120vac with an external rotor that pivots on one single bearing. Has anybody seen this kind of motor I believe it is of German origin. I am having trouble locating one of these fans and motor.

I don't recognize that motor. You may have to take it out and use the services of a company like Graingers where they stock hundreds of replacement and aftermarket motors.

Welcome to the forums.

Their product description talks about home and dwelling installation so I'm not sure where you got that information from.

maybe its not even the right site for this machine, but thought I would share, reason why i'm asking is because the one I have in my home is always blowing in air, I'm concerned about the winter time bringing in cold air causing it hard to heat in the winter,

I left a link to the company you are looking for. It's located in Canada.
The company you linked to is a commercial company in Australia.

Welcome to the forums.

I left that link almost ten years ago. That website is now for sale.
Could mean the company is no longer in business.

If you have a Freshvent Vent 1001..... search that. I found five companies selling the filters.
I did not find the original company online anymore.

The filters are supposed to be metal mesh filters that get cleaned and reused.
Replacements will be over $100 USD.

See if you can get this pdf download. The source is ok.
Your browser may say it's malware. It is not.
If you can't access it.... PM me your email address and I'll send you the manual.
