Question Bathroom fan vent. 4" to 6" roof cap?

I'm installing a bathroom fan in my house. The fan output diameter is for a 4" duct but while looking for a roof cap, one person mentioned that they should have moved up to a 6" roof cap and duct because of the noise the existing air made. They mentioned that the fan was rated at 1 sone, which isn't loud at all. I really don't want to install my fan just to run into the same issue. The distance between my fan and roof cap is pretty short (between 2' - 3') adding to the chance that I would experience sound emanating from the roof cap.
My fan is rated at 110 cfm @ 1 sone.

Suggestions/opinions?

Thanks,
