I have a goodman 2.5 ton. I am trying to figure out the external static pressure. Goodman says it should be .2. I acquired a manometer. I hooked up two probes one to the return between the air filter and the a coil. The other to the supply side in the plenum above the a coil. The combined reading I get is .4 with air filter in and .2 with it out. Is this ok or do I need to enlarge the register opening. This is with a brand new filter

That sounds about right. What kind of filter?

If your having issues id make sure the duct is sized correctly. Sized correctly duct on residential is very rare.

Neighbors wall is sweating, please help!

Greetings - I live in a large, old, home that has been made into many condos. My neighbors wall is sweating from my AC unit. My return is in the family room and goes to my unit. The picture is of my neighbors closet where the wall is occasionally wet, especially on hot days. If you bang on the wall you can hear the return duct right on the other side. As you can see the condensate pipe also runs from my unit through her closet, this also sweats sometimes. I'm not sure the best way to fix the sweating, we already spent over $1k having someone come to open the wall, clean all the mold and re-patch. I really appreciate any advice, thank you! Converting metal shed into a home

I'll try and make this as simple as it looks. Metal building with stick frame. 2x4 roof trusses. Gable style roof, no attic space, Direct contact with Metal roof. No decking. Cathedral ceiling. Wanting to temporarily insulate between 2x4s to get me through the winter untill I can remove the metal roof and lay down plywood, felt, fur strips and metal the right way. (Current metal roofing is layed with the corrugated lines running horizontal) Zone 5. MO. Options I am considering: retrofitting some sort of V.B. (latex paint, foil, foil lined rigid foam) and then insulating underneath it and putting another barrier on the inside. I can't afford spray foam and will need to remove the roof later so I can't go with that option as it will stick to the metal. Main concern is condensation well as the option of Air space or dead airspace. I have pictures if anyone would like to see what I am working with... Once again, this will be a semi temporary thing, unless I can find a way to do it permanently and still the take metal off later.
