Bathroom exhaust vent distance from HRV supply inlet?

I live in Newfoundland, Canada. What is the minimum distance I need to install my basement bathroom exhaust vent from my HRV supply intake? Or is there even a requirement in the national building code 2010?

While I am not certain of any rules, I think that I would offset the exhaust vent by 2 - 3 feet and, if possible, run it higher than the HRV. The exhaust vent will have warm, moist air - which will rise.
The HRV is pulling in colder air and exhausting warmer, moist air from the house.

Installing new duct work in a Mobile Home

I bought a Mobile Home to fix up and rent out but its in pretty bad condition. The existing duct was removed by the last owners. I made 3d model for what I'm thinking of doing for the duct work. I'll be putting in a 3 ton ac unit. The mobile home is about 1500 sf with the add on. The original mobile home is about 55' x 24'. The original size of the duct work were two 15"x4" duct on both sides. I want to replace that with 1 12" rd duct and branch off that too all the rooms. Adding Ducts/Vents

In the home I just purchased, the basement bedroom does not have any heating or cooling vents installed. I have no idea why the people who added the addition on to the home did not add vents to that room. I have an HVAC guy scheduled to do this work but have a question or two I hope someone here could help me with. The upstairs family room (directly above this bedroom) does have vents installed. Can they simply be tapped into for this bedroom? If the air handler in the furnace is not powerful enough to move air to that room to heat/cool it, can anything else be done besides replacing the furnace to move the air better to that room?Read More
